::The Hard Way::

Get a car (doesn't matter how.. There is no law now). Drive that car to a store that has food, water, shelter, clothes, a place to grow plants, a gene, and survival tools (guns, bullets, knives, first aid kits, etc.).

Bunker down.

Close off doors and windows, make sure you have an escape route out and you know it well, take anything that could hold water and put it on the roof of your building (collect rain water), start planting your food, and anything else you see necessary for the rest of the time you stay there.

Wait it out.

So now you have; shelter, water, food, and protection. If the infection doesn't find you and completely dominate you or if someone in your group doesn't fuck everything up then you'll be able to wait until help arrives... That is if there is still out there. Good luck. :]

Get infected. Put on a bullet proof helmet. Go to town on the human race.
